Dele Alli signs new £25,000-a-week five-year deal with Spurs after impressive start to career at White Hart Lane

Dele Alli has signed a new five-year deal worth £25,000-per week with Tottenham keeping him at the club until 2021.

Alli only joined Spurs in the summer having signed from MK Dons last January for £5million before being loaned back to the League One club and helping them win promotion to the Championship.
But his impressive performances for Mauricio Pochettino's side this season have caught the eye of England manager Roy Hodgson and Alli won his first international cap last year.

The move to tie Alli down to a new deal is set to warn off any club hoping to make a bid for the 19-year-old after his impressive start to life in the Premier League.
Alli said: 'I am obviously delighted, the club have been really great with me since I have come here and we have a great young team and I can see us going forward and I am happy to be here.'
