The Whites held an open training session for season ticket holders at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium
The full squad trained at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium in the first session of the week where they began preparations for the Deportivo game which will be played this Saturday in the Santiago Bernabéu (8:30 CET). Almost 6,000 people watched Zidane's first session as the first team manager. The Frenchman called upon Marcos Llorente, Borja Mayoral and Martin Odegaard from the Real Madrid Castilla squad while Gareth Bale worked inside.
The first session led by Zidane began with a warm up with and without the ball out on the field. This was followed up by a variety of possession and pressing exercises before the group was divided in two where one group did a crossing and finishing drill while the other group played a game in a reduced area.
