Obafemi Martins join the train to Chinese Super League



Nigeria striker Obafemi Martins has joined Chinese Super League side, Shanghai Shenhua, from United States Major League Side (MLS), Seattle Sounders.
The striker was linked with a return to the English Premier League in the January transfer window, but British agent Tony Harris and the player’s attorney, Soroosh Abdi brokered the deal that took him to China.

The 31 years old have been playing in the MLS for Seattle Sounders where he banged in 43 goals in 84 appearances for the club.

Obagoal joins Jackson Martinez, Ezekiel Lavezzi, Alex Teixeira, Ramirez among other football stars that have abandoned the thrill and frills of European football for the money on offer in China.
