Nigeria Held By Tunisia


Tunisia and Nigeria home based team played out an entertaining one all draw at the on going African Nations Championship in Rwanda.


After the first half ended goalless with the Tunisia having a goal disallowed, Chisom Chikatara, who scored a hattrick in Niger Dismantling of Niger in her first match, gave Sunday Oliseh charge a 52 minute lead to put the team in control of the match.

But barely 18 minute later, Ahmed Akaichi pulled the Tunisians level with a well taken goal.

The draw moved Nigeria to the top of Group C with Four points while Tunisia are now Second pending the match between Niger and Guinea.

Nigeria will play Guinea, who drew two all with Tunisia, in the last group match
to secured her place in the quarter final stage of the Biennial Competition.

Nigeria finished third in the last edition of the tournament meant for players plying their trade in their Country's league.
