Former Nigerian international, Victor Ikpeba, has faulted his former teammate and current coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh’s claim that his team’s early ouster from the ongoing African Nations Championships was largely caused by the Nigeria Football Federation.
Ikpeba says the Oliseh-tutored team should have pushed for success despite their financial troubles.
It will be recalled that the Sunday Oliseh team to CHAN 2016 started on a winning note by defeating Niger Republic 4-1 before drawing against Tunisia and then lost to Guinea which, a result which eliminate the team from the on going CHAN Championship in Rwanda
