Manuel Pellegrini Escapes FA Action Over Clattenburg Comments
The English FA have opted against charging Manuel Pellegrini for his remarks.
Pellegrini accused referee Mark Clattenburg thus:
"Unfortunately for us it was the same referee, Clattenburg, as when we lost against Tottenham in the first round with two clear goals offside. It was a penalty that was decisive for the game. I have nothing more to say"
Liverpool Confirm Deal To Sign Joel Matip
Liverpool Football Club confirmed they have reached an agreement to sign Cameroon defender Joel Matip.
Matip, 24-year-old will join the Reds in the summer following the conclusion of his current deal with FC Schalke.
