Casillas hails healthy De Gea competition


Spain captain Iker Casillas believes David de Gea is "no longer a future prospect but a strong contender" to play in goal for the national team at Euro 2016.

Porto goalkeeper Casillas has been the country's first-choice keeper since 2002 but De Gea is considered favourite to start after a solid season for Manchester United.

"De Gea is no longer the future but a strong contender," Casillas told Cadena Cope radio.
"It's clear that all of us that are here, we think that we can play.

Sissoko reveals desire to join Arsenal


Moussa Sissoko has confirmed that he wants to leave Newcastle United this summer and admits he would welcome a move to Arsenal.
The 26-year-old was part of the Newcastle side that suffered relegation from the Premier League this season, but the midfielder has no plans to play in the Championship next term.

Courtois uncertain over chelsea future

Thibaut Courtois has raised doubts over his future with Chelsea after refusing to commit to the struggling EPL Champions.

When asked whether he would remain in west London beyond the end of the season, Courtois told Belgian broadcaster RTBF he was unsure.
