Espanyol 0-0 Barcelona: Champions held in goalless derby

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez both hit the woodwork as Barcelona were held to a 0-0 draw against Espanyol that gives Atletico Madrid the opportunity to take sole ownership of top spot in La Liga.

I recently posted urging the catalan not to start 2016 in the manner Real Madrid started 2015 after a splendid 2014 but its like my advice fell on deaf ears.
