Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, GOIH (born 5 February 1985), known as Cristiano Ronaldo, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Portugal national team. He was born on February 5th 1985 and is 31 years old today
He started his football career in his native town of Funchal, Madeira where he played for Andorinha and Nacional before joining Sporting Lisbon at a young age.
He joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon in 2003 before moving in a Record transfer fee to Real Madrid in 2009 where is he the club all time record goalscorers. He has won the Fifa Ballon d'or three times and he is also Portugal all time record goal scorers.
