Rafa Benitez Takes Positive From Defeat

"I thought that we could get a result and I was convinced we could do it" he told Sky Sports News

"I will take the positives. We did well, you could see the commitment and the passion"

"There were a lot of positives and the team showed that they are convinced they can win. Every game will be important for us"
Next up for the Magpies is a local derby against Sunderland at St James' Park.

Rafa Benitez suffered first defeat in charge of Newcastle United as Leicester City restored their five point lead at the summit with a 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium.

Shinji Okazaki’s bicycle kick in the 24th minutes secured the points as Claudio Ranieri’s side moved ever closer to a remarkable league title.
